Here's a video showing how to install. Also instructions are included. (See below) explained what I did.
What I did:
1) I cleaned the area with cleaner provided or you can use rubbing alcohol. 2) I used blue painters tape and ran the bottom edge of the tape along the crease of the doors. (Make SURE the tape looks straight that will be your guide) 3) I marked in pencil 1/8" (front door) and 1/4" (rear door ) from the edge of doors. "IMPORTANT" make sure the front door molding is only 1/8 from the edge otherwise it will get pinched in the front fender when the door is opened all the way. 4) I pulled the backing tape completely off the molding and started it from the pencil marks at the doors edge. I then placed the molding directly under the tape and slowly went a few inches at a time making sure the top edge of the molding was perfectly lined up with the bottom edge of the tape. There's enough bend in the molding to keep the rest of it away from touching the vehicle. 5) After it was installed I used a towel and ran it along the molding pressing it down hard 6) Removed painters tape (it came right off) That's it, was really pretty simple if you take your time....Hope this helps, please let me know how you make out and post a few photos when it's done!
BTW I started a thread about the molding a whlie back if your interested in viewing it here's the link. 2014 Grand Cherokee side molding /door dings
