Wanted to get chrome side steps for 2014 Summit only to find out that the OEM ones fit every model but Summit because of the chrome trim along bottom of Summit. Does anyone know of any that WILL work?
I too am looking for them due to my kids and the ability to get to the roof. I found these but haven't confirmed if they fit or not. ROMIK® - Running Board Side Steps
I had a conversation with Romik today on the 2014 Overland / Summit. He will have verification of the fit hopefully by Monday. He did send me this picture of an install on a 2012 but will dry fit on a Summit on his way home this evening. He also asked I send him pictures of my Summit - underneath and a side view. These are much more custom (5") step versus 3" and I think the price is less than the OEM Mopar's.

Yes I too received confirmation that will fit the 2014 Summit, Romik is unable to offer any discount pricing so have to find an online retailer who will. Carid and Autoanything offer them at a lower price with free shipping, will call tomorrow to inquire about discounts.
i'm in if there is a group buy and the price is right... i have a 2011 overland so as long as its the same model number...
also anyone have more pics of Romik already installed? Wonder if the chrome tubular edge around the step comes up much and in the way, or if it was flush with the step pad portion
:lol:anyone heard anything on mopar tubular side steps fitting on 2014 summit. I know this thread has been idle for a while. Hopefully by now a few people may have more info on this. I need those baby's on my summit. Thanks in advance
Bless you people on this thread! There are other chrome-lovers on here. All I have been reading has been about getting rid of all the chrome on their Jeeps.
I had a set of the chrome one's on my limited and now on my overland. The holes for the running board brackets are pre drilled on the frame. These will look good on your Summit and will fit.
