Chrome Step Trim - 2012 Laredo

I see from some of the pictures on the forum that the chrome step trim at the rear bumper can be added. How does it attach and is it an easy job.

I presume the part is available from my friendly 5 star dealer.

Here's the part: http://www.justforjeeps.com/chstpadsu.html and code jeepgarage5 gets you another 5% off, or your dealer can get you the part.

Re: Chrome Step Trim - 2012 Laredo

Just installed one on my Laredo last week.
4 minute job, pry the top flat cover open.
Start on the right side en work to the left.
Only open the front of this top plate.
The black trim can now removed from under the top plate.
Take the chrome trim and slide this in place.
Now click the top plate back from left to right.
Good luck.

Thanks for the info guys, I'll need to look at that mod a little more in depth. The info at Just for Jeeps makes installation sound quite complicated.

Jeep Monster, I put the side door "Grand Cherokee Step Plates" on yesterday, they are very easy to install. They look mighty sharp..

Hi Gajim fitted some last week I bought them off eBay there is a seller in China there who has genuine parts reasonably priced they are a little fiddle to fit but if you take your time it's pretty easy to figure out
