Chrome tail light accents - re design

I've been wanting to add chrome tail light accents to my 2011 Overland. I know a lot of people feel the wk2 has too much chrome as it is. However with so many people chrome deleting and blacking out I feel the opposite. I think a little more chrome would be different.

However it seems there is only one option for chrome taillight accents and there is too much going on with them. So I bought a set from fleabay for $25 and used some diagonal cutters (dikes) and cut out the cross sections leaving only what I feel is necessary to create a simple clean chrome accent. Notice that only the perimeter remains which reduces how busy the accent appears. From afar these look awesome IMO but of course from a few feet or less you can see the scars from where I chopped out and grinded smooth the other pieces.

I'm hoping whoever makes these will see this post and start making them like this.

What they are made to look like. The cross sections have too much going on.

Thanks for recognizing.

I think the Buick Enclave has this factory.
If the manufacturer for this trim makes a new one like what I made, they should use thinner materials too so it sits flush with the tailgate chrome trim piece.

That really ties the taillights and the rear brow together.

If you really want perfection maybe you should buy another set and send them out to be Re-chromed
