I haven't seen snow in like ten years yet alone drive in it I can tell you how it lasts in sunny weather 300 days a year.

Re: Chrome window trim covered with gloss black vinyl

Probably my favorite WK2 to date - Very nice work Fu. All the subtle little mods combined with the max steel = perfect!

Did you manage to figure out how to take off the chrome window trim or did you wrap it on the Jeep?

Re: Chrome window trim covered with gloss black vinyl

My friend with a tint/stereo business did the trim. It's just 3m gloss black vinyl. He tried taking the trim off but it was too much work. He just wrapped/applied it in the Jeep. There's some parts that can't be wrapped and it just has to be trimmed really carefully.

Thanks for the compliments. I'm pretty much done with exterior except for lowering and some 22's. I'm waiting on engine mods until a programmer comes out.

Re: Chrome window trim covered with gloss black vinyl

That's the look that I want. Been contemplating with which to go to, matt or gloss, and now that I have seen it, I am decied. Thanks for sharing.

Re: Chrome window trim covered with gloss black vinyl

Looks still just as good as I had it installed. It might help that my car is garage kept and is only driven approximately 6k miles a year.
