Sounds good man. Thanks.

I'm curious about the beam pattern they put out up against a wall.

Re: chrysler 300 fogs possible fit?

Hey Guys,

To ease the wait a bit, I found this thread on 300c forum regarding a review on different 9005 bulbs for the fogs...If you scroll down you'll see quite a few images of beam pattern and brightness. From the pics alone, it looks like the 300c fogs will produce much more usable light for us!

http://www.300cforums.com/forums/eur...g-lamps-2.html

Patiently waiting for spyder to post some pics. Against a wall/garage door as well as night time against the road would be fantastic. Thanks Spyder.

Re: chrysler 300 fogs possible fit?

ok i have a little problem now... i don't know why it does that, but they go on and off like if i had a bad wire or ground... checked and everything seemed fine, but still the same problem... i tried with a h10 bulb (45w) then with a 9005 bulb (60w) and 9005 (low watt) led bulb, still the same... also i had a drl module installed between the factory harness and the bulb to see if it could fix the problem and still no fix... i just ordered a 9005 hid kit with an hd relay harness to have the proper power to light them up... will see if this fix the problem.

since then, i will try to take some pics against a wall when they are working to show you the light output...

Check the pigtail connection? I know I have ran in to that causing flickers with other vehicles if the connections aren't solid.

Strange, I wonder if there is a separate fuse for the fogs...may need increase the amps for it. I've done this with prev vehicles in which I switched to higher wattage bulbs.

Re: chrysler 300 fogs possible fit?

Lol no zombies there!! But one thing came to my mind as i was doing some research when i have done my retros, i saw a specific wiring harness for mopar vehicules and i thing that could be my fix... When i ordered my stuff i took the standalone can-bus harness so the hids works flawlessly but the drl's and fog lights now have all kinds of troubles...

Take a look at the wiring harness for mopar i think it could be the fix...

Re: chrysler 300 fogs possible fit?

I needed that harness for my TRS HID retrofit. The on/off problem was much more of a flicker for me than what I'm seeing in your video. That harness certainly did the trick and I haven't had the flickering since. It is different from the CAN-BUS, from what I understand. The wiring harness from TRS (and others i've seen) only utilize one stock connecter. The stock connector from the other side isn't used at all. The MOPAR specific relay harness (from what I was told) tells the CPU that both lights are connected and that there is no "headlamp out" issue.

good luck.
