Pic(s) of your Jeep would help...based on your description in your signature I would prolly agree that if they are stock and your ride is blacked out, I wouldn't want to draw attention to them unless you have another color for your look to integrate in say the engine bay or shocks or something like that...
I'm with mofsteel. Painting calipers of a brake setup that has no business being shown off IMO is tacky looking. The only Jeep that has a good enough brake system that deserves to be shown off is the SRT and they already come red. If you feel you must paint them, then my vote goes to black, and that's just to keep it clean looking and nothing more. The factory brakes on all non-SRT Grand Cherokees are not pretty to look at regardless of color.
It has been done and it does not burn off or melt, I personally would not use PlastiDip on the calipers, I was joking and trying to get a rise out of MOFSTEEL , I know how he loves PD :slapfight:
G2 is the best do it yourself paint kit for calipers and is available in a rainbow of colors. The go to colors now for supercars, high end sports cars and show cars seems to be yellow and gold tones
