At least your dealership is willing to assist. My local one in utterly useless in every sense you could imagine. Gave up calling them and asking for assistance with anything.

Waiting to pop on my Brilliant White mirror caps I have, even though I have had them for a few weeks now. Eying up matching door handles from justforjeeps.com - Debating if I want to attempt to put those in myself or have the shop attempt. Need to search around the web to see if there are some DIY tips. After the door handles - no more chrome!

Re: Color Match Side View Mirrors

Ive heard the door handles are a real pain to install. It involves taking off the interior panel and some other things. My knowledge level isnt strong enough for that sort of attempt but it would be nice to have color match handles

i never disconnect the battery

to remove the mirror you will need some force, just dont yank it because there are wires attached.

I turned them in all the way with the electric switch on the door. The mirror itself.

Then I pulled from the left outer edge with my fingers.

Re: Color Match Side View Mirrors

Just apply slow gradual force, like mentioned above turning the mirror all the way in is helpful to fit those fingers in and around it.

IE if you want color matched mirrors, email them (or fill out the part inquiry online) with the VIN # for a random laredo/altitude in the color you want. They find the part and mail you a quote.

My mirrors were ~$140 each. I paid it because the EBay ones were all expensive as hell and had cosmetic damage to them.
How did you get the VIN? I am looking for Metallic Steel also...

thx

You just need to google something to the extent of "2015 overland (or Laredo) metallic steel." You'll get a whole slew of hits and you just need to copy/paste the VIN from one of the links for the site or sales rep. They will use the VIN from the search you did and find the part you need. I've done it a whole bunch of times for various sites and it works great.

Re: Color Match Side View Mirrors

I am interested in doing the opposite, installing chrome mirrors onto my 2015 Laredo E brilliant black. If anyone is interested in trading for their chrome mirrors please let me know. I am located in Pittsburgh (LETS GO BUCS) I would be willing to trade locally or send in mail. thanks
