colour matched bushwacker flares

just some cell phone pics of mineral grey colour matched flares. Been on for a while but just decided to take a few pics. Jeeps covered in ice droplets all over as its -29c with wind chill right now and just left the car wash.
Also on it are the srt hood ,ebc dimpled and slotted rotors with green stuff pads. Stock Laredo x size components, didn't move up to hd stuff but the jeep stops a lot better now. Red rubber coated front hooks trailhawkish but chrome would rust, black would disappear and it has red caliper covers so I went with red.

Re: colour matched bushwacker flares

looks good but makes the wheels look tiny, maybe time for some bigger rims/tire set up

Re: colour matched bushwacker flares

hoping to aquire some srt split spoke 20"s when I can. might not fill things up much but always liked those rims even though a lot of guys don't. Then a hunt to find aggressive 20" low pro tires which don't seem to be an easy find.

Really? Like a kids civic? Come on man. So it's got ugly calipers, so what we all do. Just give them a lick of black paint and they just disappear and don't stand out.
Other than that your Jeep looks tough and respectable. Don't let it down with eBay fluff

Jeep looks awesome. Just need some bigger tires under it. And I agree, ditch the caliper covers and just paint the stock calipers

Re: colour matched bushwacker flares

I like each part individually, but not too sure about the theme you have going on. The red accents and hood are more of a street theme. The pocket fender flares look better on off-road rigs. IMO, it just doesn't all mesh well together.

Re: colour matched bushwacker flares

nah where I live the civic kids aren't throwing those on, some paint their stuff but I was not loving the giant calipers, a little lumpy and I didn't want the expense and time of going brembo as I try to do the mods myself where possible except for large scale paint and she's only a six.
The covers clean up really easy and with the green stuff pads im throwing brake dust like mad. Need to wash the rims off regularly with my driving style and the calipers accumulate it and it looks grungy. these cover it,are easy to clean, easy to remove and can still pressure wash behind. As for colour and design they were "cost effective" and when the finish starts to wear I can paint them what ever colour I wish. I would have to say if you buy them they are a little expensive but the build quality is actually good. Have not noticed any obvious heat issues or anything with them yet.
Thanks for your thoughts on it guys . should be getting the 3 foot tall rear wing in the mail soon and then to paint and.......... just kidding lol happy holidays etc to y'all.
never hurts to pop a little bit of ricer on your 4x4 heres my old xj with clear markers , tails etc..
