LOL.....I dont think black ops has a body shop! PLUS...it would be almost impossible to paint match a bumper

Why is it almost impossible? I've had aftermarket bumpers painted (on non jeep vehicles) and its turned out fine. Granted, this was years ago and maybe things have changed. Just curious...

Re: Coming soon non SRT front lip?

well....actually nowadays its easier than ever...but still not perfect. Go to your local body shop and tell them you want a part paint matched. They will take the paint code.....but that paint code has several variations in shade. Its due to climate, mileage etc. They will most like ask to remove a part from your vehicle.....like the gas door to match the paint too while working. IMHO Chad would never agree to paint these anyway because of the logistal nightmare and complaints of paint not matching. Its easier on small parts.....but bumpers,....no way anyone would do it.

Re: Coming soon non SRT front lip?

Scott is correct also with his reasoning and also due to the fact when the factory changes paint on the fly from what I'm told. They just change paint and spray out until the color changes. So lets say Red was being painted then they switch to White They will spray white until no red is seen well their is no way to get every drop out of every fitting in the paint system so you end up with a tint of red in the first 50 white's. Then to Black from White their is some tint of white in the first 50 blacks. So this is the reason and some due to how Scott described it also why their are 3-6 paint colors to 1 paint code.
I can have these painted but with shipping I can guarantee minor damage to the paint it is not 100%. If that's a risk anyone wants to take I will paint them with your paint code. I do not recommend having us do it for this reason and the color matching reason. This are just the risks we run and have not found a way to guarantee the part shows up 100% sorry.

If someone want to go agains this I will do it but will have to be forced to mail out disclaimers excluding ourself from responsibility in the case you are not happy from the following two BIG reasons above.

IMO just go to a body Shop Haaaa Avoid a huge ordeal LOl

This is how we will approach the fogs or LED's right now I guess.

We will modify the part or make an add on option for this how's that sound? So you get the best of both worlds you can have no fogs if you desire fogs one day then Boom you have fogs if you get sick of them you can just get rid of them.

Or we may just do two molds one with fogs and one without we are still trying to figure out how to go about this and make everyone happy Just thinking out loud Haa.

I'm in. I'd like to see some LED's but the placement would have to be spot on.......where that spot is I'm not sure.

Re: Coming soon non SRT front lip?

Chad, I thought you were going to spread the lower grille further out like it was in the "Street Jeep concept"

That lower section is just begging for a bigger opening

Re: Coming soon non SRT front lip?

^Chad, thanks for the background. I would take the paint risk on the lower lip, but not on the hood.

Now gotta decide if it's gonna be a CF hood, painted FG hood, or painted alum SRT8 hood? It's soooooo hard. Heh.
