Question Comparison between 2014 HID's and 2013 HID Lights

Has anyone had the opportunity to compare the two projectors? I am really curious as to how good the new projectors are for low and high beam performance. I am not ecstatic about the headlights int he 2013 so I am hoping the newer Bi Xenon lights are better.

I hope someone can chime in here and give their opinions.

they are the pretty much the same made by the same company....I have a 14' lamp right here in my garage. Both are 66mm Valeo projectors...but the 14' uses D3s bulbs and ballasts...which are considered to be better and brighter.

Like Scott said.. better and brighter! They definitely do the job. I've had people bright me while running the low beams.

Not only brighter, but the cut-off is FAR MORE sharp and defined, with less light "splash." I just did a swap and i compared the two beam patterns. Night and day difference in my opinion. Wish I would have taken a pic.

Jrunr

You can also consider the Osram Cool Blue Intense (CBI) HID bulbs they do make a difference even in these 2011-2013 bi-xenon headlights.

I will tell you that the Euro-spec headlights do have more range than the US spec because of the shutter design.

The CBI bulb are a good basis to improve what you already have. and combining them with some euro spec headlights are a good bolt on direct fit upgrade too.
