I did, I sanded it down so the texture wasn't to annunciated with 600 than 1000 grit, than used a paint adhesive. Wasn't to bad, the paint and clear coat have held up great and still shines like a beauty for just Off The Shelf spray paint. A word of warning however, you must practice some serious paitence when painting at home. And if you do not have a rotary buffer, get ready for a forearm workout when it comes time for your running compound.

Re: Complete 2011 to 2014 conversion

Idiocue, you posted in another 2011-2014 headlight swap thread that you had wiring diagrams and instructions posted in your thread. You said Jeep-Addicted wanted too much money and you had a far less expensive way to make the conversion.
Quote: The kit is a waste of money, you can build his totally overpriced kit for the cost of the hid kit (typically 30 dollars) however the headlights have an intrinsic ballast hid system, about 30 feet of 16 gauge wire 10$ and 30 quick splice connects 10$ Pm me for the schematics and questions, I built my own along with another member and it works great search my username for my build forum

OK, I searched and only found this thread under your name, and no diagrams. Did I miss something?

Meh. Looks are nothing with the transmissions in the 11-13 being what needs swapped out. You can play with the looks all you want but in the end, the game changer is in the powertrain.
