Re: Conditioning Napa Leather Seats??

What about just using water, like a damp cloth?

That's what the manual suggests. Pure water won't clean, which is why I use a water based cleaner like leather master.

I condition because it was sold as a set, And it won't hurt anything because it's all water based.

Few questions

- How often should the leather get a wipe down with water
- Should you wipe down with a dry cloth after the damp wipe down
- Any specific type of cloth used for the wipe down

Can't really put a number on it like that. Depends on climate. I personally condition mine 2-3x per year, and wipe it down with a damp microfiber whenever it gets dirty.

For the conditioner, I use a foam applicator that came with my leather master kit. And I wipe it down after it sits for a minute with a microfiber cloth.

Re: Conditioning Napa Leather Seats??

I did mine today.
Just a friendly reminder to not forget about the steering wheel!! It feels great after being conditioned. I do all sides around the whole circumference.

Re: Conditioning Napa Leather Seats??

I have been using Chemical Guys conditioner for a while. Love the smell! A bit too shinny for the dash leather imho. I use it on my girls softball gloves and my sons baseball glove as well

+1. Great stuff and smell. I use the cleaner as well. Finish off the car with some chemical guys stripper spray car scent.
