Customized remote cases

This past weekend I was doing some painting of some parts on my truck.

I decided I would play around and customize two remote cases I had laying
around.

Materials used:

Mopar touch up paint (PRP) deep cherry
Dupli color adhesion promotor
Dupli color primer sealer
Spray Max 2K high glamour clear coat.

In the photo I also colormatched my washer nozzles.

If you had your truck as long as mine you probably had the washer nozzles fail on you.

I replaced on already and the other broke last week so these new ones are right on time.

Looks nice...
But being in the same pocket as my house keys would just scratch that shiny paint.

Customized remote cases

I like the idea, but my key fob would never stay that new looking. I'd give it a week or two and that finish would be shot. Not worth the effort in keeping it scratch or chip free.

Re: Customized remote cases

I have a solution for that:

These cases would be for show and I don't keep my car key with any of my other keys.

Plus my keys stay in a leather case by itself.
