Has anyone put the black slush mats in their beige Overland? If so, does it make it instantly cheap or is it an OK match?
I have the black slush mats in my beige interior and I think they look good. There are enough black accents on the interior that it blends well IMO.

Yeah, I've looked into that, but I'm still not sold on the light floor color. I sat in a Limited with light frost and black carpet and thought that was pretty nice. The all beige is somehow "less nice" to my eyes. Like I said, I think a dark brown to match the dash would have been nice.

In terms of the material for mats, I'd like the rubber/grippy feel, not hard plastic, so I'm investigating those options as well.

Thanks for the feedback!

Thanks for the reply. Were your mats all weather or carpet?

Judging from your avatar I'm guessing you have the Overland as well? That is my concern. I've sat in the Limited with the beige seats and black carpet and that is fine. I'm more worried the "black" slush mats with light exposed carpet will look odd.

Thanks for the reply!

Actually, They're Coco mats...kind of like a black basket weave with a bottom sewn on.

Re: Dark interior vs beige

We looked for a month at 5 different makes all with beige interiors. We settled on the JGC last week and at the last minute she changed to the Summit instead of the Overland which changed to the Grand Canyon dark brown interior which I liked from the get-go. Now that it's home she doesn't seem as excited with it. Both colorfs need ocassional attention but the beige will show long term dirt. Hell I love it and the diesel is awesome.

Re: Dark interior vs beige

So I went with the Overland with beige/beige. I am not as worried about it as I once was, but find myself (after day 1) checking the carpet around the floor mat for dirt. It is there already. Oh well, I'm ordering slush mats ("black") from Mopar so we'll see how that goes. Maybe a light cleaning is all it needs.

It is a car, right? Not a piece of art

Other than that concern, this thing is great!

I have the light frost with black Husky Weatherbeaters and it looks great! Mans up the interior a bit. Love the contrast!

Re: Dark interior vs beige

I bought the Tan Husky mats for our JGC with the Frost interior. Kinda between the Dark brown and the lighter mats.

Re: Dark interior vs beige

Thought I'd post my Mopar slush mats in case anyone was thinking of doing the same. I just received them tonight and installed immediately (is there any other way?). Here is a quick cell phone shot. I think the black on Frost looks OK. I like the carpeted/matching mats better of course, but they're not going to do snow/mud/dirt very well.
