Much improved from the standard LED that I originally installed. The LED style were okay, but were too blue/purple for my taste. These new Cree Leds are a true crisp bright white. Not the best pic, but you get the idea of the color. ANother pic of the old LED vs new one (top.) I had a few picked out but decided on these thanks to another forum member... Jeep_addicted.

Thanks for the info. Just replaced my drivers side by taking out the air intake dam. Wouldn't have know unless I got on this sight. Thanks to all!!!!

Re: Daytime Running Light Replacement DRL

What wattage and color do you use for the DRL? Ebay has different CREE LED 3157 bulbs to choose from.

We both are using them in our trucks right now that is the seller I bought them from.

I am not recommending them; I am ENDORSING them 100% NO issues.

I just put a pair in the Silver 11' because I was using a different bulb in that one and after 10 months they crapped out so I replaced them with a set of CREE LED so that is two cars I have with these bulbs

Re: Daytime Running Light Replacement DRL

I am still very happy with the DRL bulbs...very white and clean looking compared to the last LEDs I had and of course the oem 3157 bulbs.

Not sure, I know it is the white beam and went ahead and replaced them both. Went to auto store and gave them the light number and they gave me the ones that matched the number.
Hope this helps.

Re: Daytime Running Light Replacement DRL

I hope you guys know you dont have to remove any part in the engine bay to change a stupid light.

Chrysler engineers did a "good" job with this. They did a special opening in the inner fender (where the wheels are). Just pup that litle round cover, and that gives you access to the head lights.

this will save you tons of time

Have you had any problems with them? I saw a write up where someone did this and it melted inside of the headlights.
