Re: DDM Tuning HID kits

I've had a couple sets of DDM kits. They both worked great.

I was reading on DDM's website that they don't recommend the HID's in the fog housings as they could melt. Anyone have this issue with theirs? I too would like to upgrade my lows and fog lights since they are both projector lights.

35 Watt in fogs, no issues ever with any vehicle I've had them in...

I've ran them in fog lights as well on other vehicles without any issues. However, specifically on the '14+ WK2 on DDM's page it says it may melt the fog light housing.

Good to know, thanks. I was going off what DDM had on their site for the '14+ WK2's.

DDM Tuning HID kits

Hi, is drilling into the headlight housing necessary? And is this kit plug and play?

Re: DDM Tuning HID kits

Just drilling the dust cap to pass the wires through. If you ever need to go back to stock the caps cost a couple dollars each.

What adapter cables? All you need is the H11 DDM plus canbus kit. 1 for the fogs and one for the headlights.
