De-Badging 2013 Jeep Grand Cherokee

I am looking to take the 4X4 and Laredo badges off of my 2013 Jeep Grand Cherokee 26x. My main concern is whether or not there are holes under these badges. Any and all help is greatly appreciated

No holes just double sided tape.

Cheers

The double sided tape is a pain in the ass. I've always used a blow dryer to get it hot. However, I've heard others have used ice to freeze and pop it off.

Re: De-Badging 2013 Jeep Grand Cherokee

Use an ice pack on the badge hold it in place over the badge for about two minutes, pry with a flat edged tool (careful not to scratch your paint). The letters/number will pop off with minimal if any adhesive residue. The colder you get the letters the less adhesive is left behind and the easier they are to pop off. What residue was left on mine I just used dish detergent and water to wipe it off! good luck!

Re: De-Badging 2013 Jeep Grand Cherokee

I used some WD-40 and fishing line to remove the chrome side strips. That was the easy part, removing the residual tape left over was another story!
