The sooner you do it the easier they are to get off.

Dealer name sticker removal

Most dealers here in NY use license plate frames instead of decals.

Really? Undoing 4 screws is too hard for Aussie's?

WD40 spray it and let sit few mins. A fingernail will get it off.Any glue left behind can be WD40 again and removed with soft cloth.

Dealer name sticker removal

When I purchase a vehicle and it has a sticker on it and it's the emblem type and not the label type, I just use dental floss or fishing line to get the emblem off. If there is goo left on afterwards I use the goo remover. You can't even tell it's ever been on there.

Buy a toup dryer instead?

We could go completely off the rails here and have you note that you are not drying head hair, but lets not.

Well yeah, of course. I just though the hardware stores in Oz would sell southern hemisphere screwdrivers. Or maybe a left-handed one would work in a pinch.

Re: Dealer name sticker removal

I just removed mine the other day. It had been applied 9 months ago. Hit it with a hair dryer. Then peeled away one edge and started pulling. It left behind a bit of adhesive but Goo Gone took care of that easily.

Can't even tell it was there.

Re: Dealer name sticker removal

The dealer's sticker is small and low key, so it doesn't bother me. They also did the license plate frames. They also are not obnoxious, so I'm not in a hurry to remove them. I had a decent experience with the dealer, so no urgent feeling to get them off.

Besides, the selling dealer will also be the servicing dealer. I suspect there's a bit of goodwill in having them on if/when it goes in for service.
