I want to do this but add the grand cherokee lettering on the sides... trying to figure out how to remove the moldings without braking them...

Re: Debadged and Chrome door trip removed..

i plan on doing the tints this weekend..think im going to go with 35%.. long island is such a pain in the ass with tints.. everytime its a nice day they always have check points and bust balls...

If you use heat you can remove them without chipping the chrome or breaking them.. i just ripped them right off lol..broke the driver side one.. i was thinking bout the lettering but since i debadged the front and back i think it wouldnt make sence ya know.. i feel like i would have to put them all back on and possibly black them all out

I'm gonna have to wait until it gets warmer out and try with a hair drier, thanks.

Another technique to remove the emblems is by using fishing line like a "saw" to cut through the adhesive padding, and remove the rest of the "leftovers" with an adhesive remover like "goof off". Don't rush the job.
