Re: Debadged the SUMMIT

I kinda debadged mine... well just the hood badge, I still have the dealers badge in the back but I'm taking it off as soon as I get my new HEMI badge.

Out of curiosity, why did you sell your Summit?

Looks good, I'm thinking about doing the same to my black one.. I'll probably start with the hood, and then work up enough courage to do the sides.. I am going to leave my back ones alone too.

Why would you do that? Having Summit does show for something and separates you from all the other class Jeeps. I just didn't see the point in this, the side looks bare but the front sort of looks clean and fresh. To each their own though, I'd have kept it on.

I've debaged every car, truck and suv that ive owned...if they wouldnt all mold into either the front or back I would remove that logo as well...don't know why, I just like it that way....at minimum its worth losing grand cherokee from the side ....gotta be a pain trying to wax around all the tiny letters

You need a badge on the back to tell you that? I figured the unique bumpers, exhaust, wheels, and chrome trim were enough to give it away...

Re: Debadged the SUMMIT

The only emblem left is the "Jeep" on the rear... I was going to leave the 4X4 and Summit on the back, but I just decided to wack them all.. My fingernails are gone too, and so is about 2 hours of my life! All good, definitely cleaner. hoping to get an opti-coat application done in a few weeks.

Re: Debadged the SUMMIT

Looks great. SO much easier to clean and especially wax. Wish I could lose the tailgate one too. My ram pickup was the same deal. There are pins in that one and of course the molded sheet metal. I was going to get a custom emblem for my Ram. Doubt I'd get one for my Jeep though.

Billet Badges Inc.

I've debadged the last 5-6 vehicles I've owned. I like the look too. And as far as debadging a Ferrari, you can have model designations etc. deleted, just not the Ferrari emblem. Porsche will delete all emblems. And yes that is the way I would order them for sure. Beautiful paint job with free advertising... I don't think so.
