Debadged the SUMMIT

Took the chrome hood emblem and side lettering off today. Emblems were so fresh they basically fell right off with a little heat to them from the heat gun.Overall i think it turned out great. I wanted a cleaner look on the hood and sides. And in my opinion it gives it a little bit more sportier look. I left the rear tailgate alone so it still has the Grand Cherokee Summit badge and 4X4 badge.

MKSVT, I'm almost positive I just purchased your Summit last week in MA …

Sent you a PM, not sure if it went through.

Re: Debadged the SUMMIT

One of the first things I did with mine was take off the side lettering. The lettering makes it look like a Grand Caravan...

However, I am not a fan of taking off the hood letters - they have grown on me. Maybe I will reconsider.

Kind of thought the same thing about looking like Grand Caravan lettering...do not like that!

Now I want to take mine off, but lease struggles are telling me to wait.

Re: Debadged the SUMMIT

Now without the hood or door badges, it just looks like another screw up on the Jeep assembly line.

Re: Debadged the SUMMIT

I liuke the clean hood look but it needs "Jeep" up there somewhere - maybe if Jeep was a logo having it in the middle grill or something.

I am sorry but how does the lettering on the JGC make it look like a grad caravan? Or am I missing something?

Nearly identical "lettering" style.
