This is a common defect for previous years also,my dealer ordered 3 before a good one was received.Takes about 5 minutes to install.

Re: defrost vent disbonding

well that's good news. Since the temps have dropped my heat is set to blow from the defrost and lower vents all the time i wonder if that had anything to do with it dis bonding.

Re: defrost vent disbonding

I just noticed mine is coming up on either side the other day. It's very noticeable, I'm not sure how I missed it until recently. I'll post photos before I head to the dealer and let you know how it goes.

Is this defect covered by the dealer? If not, what's the cost. I noticed this on one of the vehicles I was looking at this past week.

Re: defrost vent disbonding

Yes, it should be covered. If they say no, fight, or go to another dealer. Ultimately FCA has to approve it. My '14 had it about 3x worse when it was cold out, and it was replaced under warranty. The '11 I have now also has it, but just barely... so not going to bother with it.
