Dent

I picked up my jeep a week ago and just noted a dent, maybe dimple? It's on the roof right near the windshield and is noticable. How are they going to fix that? is it possible to pop? or can your replace the roof? I really dont want this thing ripped apart. Thanks

Re: Dent

I have one there also. It looks like a half inch scratch, but when you look closer or touch it it is indented. I'm going to just get some touch up paint.

You do not want a new roof. They should be able to repair it, but it might entail taking down the headline.

Point it out to your dealer's body shop and see how they propose fixing it.

Re: Dent

Replacing the roof would be insane. Stop by a paintless dent removal shop and have them take a look at it.

Good Luck.

Re: Dent

They have a paintless dent guy coming wednesday. If that doesn't work he suggests sanding it down and poping it out and repainting it.

Those guys are pretty good. I think they can get to it. I had a 4 inch long door ding on my 14 right on the rear passenger door where the door and wheel body molding came together and they were able to get it.
