Deplyable side steps

Just wondering if anyone has had any experience with these or possibly know the cost?

I emailed them yesterday, but have not had a reply yet!

Re: Deplyable side steps

I posted that video in a side step thread (SRT side step thread form memory) months ago and another JG member contacted back then. Same story, they never replied to multiple enquiries.

Have you tried calling?

It is in China. I have no idea about the time difference.

Re: Deplyable side steps

I saw some for >$2K on ebay. I don't think I would take the chance. From Taiwan:

For Jeep Grand Cherokee 2011 2014 Electric Running Board Side Step Nerf Bar | eBay

That's ~double the price of Amp or Best Top boards for trucks.

Unfortunately AMP don't make them for the GC.

Re: Deplyable side steps

I've been waiting on bee stop or AMP to make something for the grand cherokee. I'd like a running board but I think the current ones take too much away from the look of the vehicle .

Re: Deplyable side steps

Pretty much all Mopar Accessories are made in China. I know my step bars, and (previous) splash guards were.

Re: Deplyable side steps

Had a set on my ram. Regretted them 5 minutes into ownership. They creaked and needed grease on a regular basis. Stay away. It's a gimmick. Get a real bar if you need a step...

Re: Deplyable side steps

My neighbors '14 Limited F150 pickup has them from the factory and they retract a lot higher up than the ones in the video of the GC. You cant even tell he has them until the door opens.

I personally don't like that look at all, especially on a GC.
