If you don't mind me asking, how much did the detailing products run you?

I bought them off a sight called autogeek.net. Do a copy and paste of my product list on to there search engine for the exact price. With the holidays coming in soon, there going to put most of there product on sale up to 20% off, so I would wait for that. Warning, that sight is addictive

Re: Detailing (Pics)

I just got into the autogeek thing myself. I have been reading reviews to do a better job at keeping my black jeep looking new, but any real world advice is much appreciated. I haven't clayed the jeep yet but plan on doing that in the spring. But I did order a bunch of microfiber towels from pakshak and i ordered the blackfire wet diamond and blackfire midnight sun wax from autogeek. I must say these products are the best I've used to date and really makes the paint look great. I have not tried these higher level products before, most of my supply was meguiars or autozone stuff, with the exception of meguiars #21 sealant which is actually very good, but the blackfire wet diamond is better! I bought a leaf blower to aid in drying, I figure the less that touches the black paint the better. My microfiber a are great quality and should help too. The only thing I'm not sure of is the applicators I use to spread the sealant or wax. They are foam, but I wonder if they are good, or possibly marr the paint. Anyway your jeep looks great and I'm am really learning a lot on here and the other auto detailing sites. There's so many products I want to try, including some of the ones you listed. If anyone else has some product reviews or detailing tips, I'd love to hear them. I want to continue to learn and keep that brilliant black looking good! Black is definitely takes work to keep it looking great but man is it worth it when it's clean.

Autogeek is a great site to get info + advise. Have'nt tried the Blackfire stuff, i went the Chemical Guys route so I have to wait for that to finish, but so far no complaints

Pete'53 is a WOWO (wipe on wipe off, no need to let it dry) wax. A little bit really goes a long way. Havent used it by itself but with black light and V7 it relly gives off a nice slickness to the paint if your looking for that "wet look".
