lol pretty much. Ditto. Thx. Honestly I think the new vipers and the jeep srt hoods are the cleanest most aggressive factory hood produced. So so sick. I'm a major car guy and I don't hate on any manufacturer. Even rice burners but mopar really just hit the mark.

Re: Diesel w/ SRT Hood! Help requested....

So my Summit was a recent victim of some debris damage to the hood and windshield. Gonna see what the body shop recommends - plan is, it'll go on the other guys' insurance because he's the one who didn't secure his load.

4000 mile truck, bought 3 days before Christmas.

Gonna see if he's suggesting body filler (hope not) or new hood. If he suggests new hood, I may just have him order the SRT part number

I had read somewhere it's a CF hood - yes? Or is it aluminum like the stocker? Is there "a" CF aftermarket hood out there somewhere? Just exploring options...trying to polish a turd situation, I guess...

What do I need to swap one of these on a v6? I'm going to keep my eyes peeled for white ones for sale so I don't have to worry about paint

You dont have.to do anything...and you still may have to.paint as there are differences in paint shades.from say to dat at JNAP and anywhere paint work is done.
