Re: Do I need the clear bra or no?

I have no interest in flaming anybody...its just a discussion about clearbras in my opinion.

I got a response from 3M to my query:

Quote:
Steve,

Thank you for contacting 3M.

We do not have matte finish Scotchguard or VentureShield Paint Protection Film. We do have matte finish vinyl film in our commercial graphics division, you can contact them at 888-650-3497. Our clear Scotchgard and VentureShield Paint Protection Film does not have UV protection.

None of our Paint Protection Films will adhere to textured, unpainted bumpers or trim. Our films are designed to be applied to painted and smooth plastic surfaces only, and 3M does not advise applying our film to headlights or windshields.

Best Regards,

Mary K.

Re: Do I need the clear bra or no?

Perhaps a couple of Snickers bars would be appropriate now?

Re: Do I need the clear bra or no?

I gave been reading the banter in the background and I can see that you are both very very passionate about your cars as it can be seen by your friendly banter about the adhesive and technical qualities of after market films. Both sides really show the same conclusion - everybody needs to do their own investigation in order to make an informed decision.

Very entertaining though.. Do you two do birthdays, Bar-mitzvahs and other?
