I was wondering if anyone has fitted the mopar dog barrier part 82212304. I would appreciate it if anyone could post some photos - in particular I'm interested in how the barrier mounts - any holes to be drilled in the trim?
Gmwk2... the jeep dealer I purchased 2014 gc from in australia didn't recommend the mopar but another brand.. due to the way the mopar needed to be fasten...
My dog travels on the back and no need for barrier. He basically jumps to the back when I open the door and he just stands there for a while and then lays on the floor in which I have cover with a water resistant dog cloth from Surefit.com.
+1 for the Travall. Had it in my 12 & it fits in my 14 perfect too. Looks great and no drilling it uses the hooks in the cargo floor to stay in place. I bought a canvasback liner and now I never have to worry about muddy Labs.
I'm torn between the traval and the Mopar barrier. Still a few months away from even buying my JGC. I notice that the Mopar barrier is not for vehicles with the dual pane panoramic sunroof. That might make my decision for me. But what I'm wondering is why. Is the headliner different all the way at the rear for a dual pane pano JGC vs one with the single pane roof or even no sunroof? Under the headliner, do the glass panes slide all the way to the rear to where they would interfere with where the mopar one mounts? (See pic)
