Dome Lights?

How do I set the interior lights to be on when one of the doors are open? I've tried reading the manual and it does not say how to control them. I know you can turn them on completely with the dimmer wheel but what about when doors are open.

As of now, only my left rear light comes on when the door is open. No light in the trunk too.

Thanks!

Re: Dome Lights?

Ok well this is all controlled by that same rotary knob down by the headlights. To set the interior lights to normal operation and so that they come on when the doors open. First start with the rotary knob turned down as far as it can go (which is where I think you must have it set to begin with). Then rotate it (turning it upward) beyond the first click which you feel feel instantly, then to full brightness WITHOUT going beyond the second "click". Going beyond the second click sets your interior dash lights and radio screens and gauge cluster to full brightness, then going beyond the third click turns all interior lights on.

I know this may be a bit confusing, but if you sit in the car and read over my description it makes sense. So in other words, if the knob is turned down as far as it can go that turns all interior lights OFF. If your left rear light comes on that means someone manually pressed it to turn it on at some point. Go press that light so that its off and it will then operate in sync with all the other lights.

Re: Dome Lights?

Reviving this thread, still no way to keep the dome lights turned off but the interior at normal brightness right?
