Dome/Maps lights not working...sort of

So, I had 4Wheel Parts install an LED light bar on my WK2. Looks great, works great. The other day I had to use the interior maps lights. Unfortunately, when I pushed the buttons (I tried both) they barely came on. You could hardly see them. When I pressed the actual lens to turn them on the were still very, very dim. I checked the courtesy lights in the back seat and they were very dim when I pressed the on as well. Here is the weird part. This only happens when I manually turn them on. When I open the doors (any doors) they all come on bright. This used to not be the problem. The last time I used the dome/map lights manually was during the summer, before I had the LED light bar installed, so they used to work as they should.

Obviously, this has to be related to the LED bar install. They worked before and not after. Is there a different switch or relay that sends power to them separately from the door light switch (I don't know if there is a technical term for it)? Has anyone heard of this issue before? The light bar is always "hot" (no need to turn the ACC on to turn them on). Is this the problem. Does it need different fuse? I just looking for some trouble shooting ideas before I take it back to 4Wheel Parts as they usually have a long wait time for an appointment. Any ideas are appreciated.

Have you checked your interior light control (don't know the tech term - left side of the steering wheel on the dash)? The one that controls how bright your dashboard is when your headlights are on. Might be as simple as that. Otherwise, I got nothing for you. Good luck.

Yup. When I turn the dial on all the way on until it stops, the lights come on. But, when it is in the normal, off position or to the position where the automatic high-beams are enabled (and to where the dash lights are on full bright) the individual light buttons don't turn the lights on all the way; just very, very dim.

I meant the other one. It's to the upper right of that (at least on the 2014). Not the exterior lights but controls the dashboard lights. It's a vertical scroll wheel.

The dash/interior light dimmer is to the right of the headlight switch. Hopefully it is just a case that they bumped the dimmer dial, rather than a bad tap into the wrong wire when connecting the light bar.

Sorry, that is the one I meant. Turned up or down, the brightness remains the same when the individual light switches are turned on. Doors open: lighten bright. Doors close and switches on: barely visible light. When the dash/interior light dimmer is turn all the way to the on position (where all the interior lights come on manually) they come on bright. However, the buttons on the roof next to the lights and pressing the lens on the lights just has the lights come on very dim. Even the rear seat lights have the same problem.

The last thing to try is a reset. Disconnect the battery for a while then reconnect. Just in case the install work accidentally glitched the BCM. Jeep service tell me they fix many electrical issues with a reset.

Disconnected the battery for about 30 minutes. No change. Check fuses. All seem to be OK. Even changed out the ones that went to the interior lights. Nothing.
