Thumbs down Don't bother with Lamin-X fog light overlays

I've been disappointed with the color & performance of the fogs on my wife's WK2. I was planning on throwing some 3000k HIDs in, but I can't seem to find any that fit the oddball foglight. I came across some yellow fog light overlays from Lamin-X for $15 so I figured I'd give 'em a whirl.

Put one side on, turned on the fogs & immediately took them off. Looked WORSE than stock, if that's possible....like a light piss color....I was looking for more of a deep asparagus piss hue.

Net - if you want to upgrade your fogs, get bulbs. Don't bother with the Lamin-X overlays.

did you get pics after the install? I know a few of the WKers with good results with the film and stock bulbs.

totally agree if you want to upgrade fogs, get the bulbs. Im awaiting delivery of the yellow lamin-x and want to experiment it with the 3k hids.

My HID fogs match the color of the HID headlights but they are too bright (if that’s possible)...other than that I do like them much more than stock.....I only use them in desolate, off road areas or in extreme fog. Look at my sig for specs.
