The front doors require:
The removal of all the guts of the front door. The 6x9 has to be removed to remove the window glass then lock mechanism has to be unbolted from the door so the the black inner door frame can be removed so you can access the door handle.

The rear door requires:
just accessing the bolts through the access hole through the inner door frame.

Small hands are a plus for the back doors.
I would say 4 hour is a realistic timeframe taking your time and making sure you connect the rods.

I did it on my trucks, I just recently did the second one the other day so it is still fresh in my mind.
Thanks for that Correy. That does help make up my mind. I'm sure I'll do the rears myself. Then maybe I'll drive down to you and you can do the fronts. I don't mind taking stuff apart, but the window removal I'm a little unsure of.

Heard from allmoparparts today, they have one of my front handles and the other now says in transit instead of shipping in 2 or 3 days. looks like I'll actually have them soon.

Re: Door Handle Advice

My front handles finally came in today, one week shy of 3 months. Stopped by the shop that's going to do the swap and made an appointment for Tuesday. Will finally be chrome free.

You are gonna have to put your truck on a boat or something :-). Correy is in the VI. Probably cheaper to pay for his plane ticket to come to you than having the dealership do it. LOL.
