Drivers seat so far back...?

Before starting my jeep the driver seat retreats so far back that I can barely touch the brake and the start button at the same time.... is there any way to limit how far back the seat retracts before starting?

Check under your UConnect settings for your easy entry/exit function setting.

Your owner's manual will also explain how you can set up memory settings for several functions (including seat position) that are linked to each key fob and the "1-2" memory buttons located on the driver's door.

Re: Drivers seat so far back...?

Easy seat option is either on or off, as MDBones said, your owner’s manual explains it, and how far it will move back.
You can’t adjust the amount it retracts, only turn it off.
We initially had it turned on, but like you, the misses can’t touch the pedals when getting in to depress the brake pedal and start to cause the seat to come forward, so it is turned off.
If you really want this type of feature, but you have this problem, then you could set the other memory setting to provide the same feature, and then when you unlock the car with your fob, it will move it back to your position for entry. If the other memory setting is used, and already closer than yours, I guess you’re out of luck.

From your owner’s manual:

Easy Entry/Exit Seat
This feature provides automatic driver seat positioning to enhance driver mobility when entering and exiting the vehicle.
The distance the driver seat moves depends on where you have the driver seat positioned when you cycle the vehicles ignition to the OFF position.
• When you cycle the vehicles ignition to the OFF position, the driver seat will move about 2.4 in (60 mm) rearward if the driver seat position is greater than or equal to 2.7 in (67.7 mm) forward of the rear stop. The seat will return to its previously set position when you cycle the vehicles ignition to the ACC or RUN position.

The Easy Entry/Easy Exit feature is disabled when the driver seat position is less than 0.9 in (22.7 mm) forward of the rear stop. At this position, there is no benefit to the driver by moving the seat for Easy Exit or Easy Entry.
Each stored memory setting will have an associated Easy Entry and Easy Exit position. NOTE: The Easy Entry/Exit feature is not enabled when the vehicle is delivered from the factory. The Easy Entry/Exit feature is enabled (or later disabled) through the programmable features in the Uconnect® system. Refer to “Uconnect® Settings/Customer Programmable Features” in “Underst
