Drop Stop

Has anyone installed the Drop Stop in their WK2?

This is the invention that was shown on shark tank. Basically its rubber wrapped in (what i guess is) neoprene. Fills in the space between your seat and center console.

My questions is this: Does its look absolutely ridiculous and noticeable when installed; How much does having the easy exit mess it up. I would assume the constant movement of the seat wouldnt mix well with this thing.

Re: Drop Stop

Had 'em in for 22 months and they are quite effective. The black neoprene blends in well with the black leather and nobody ever notices them. They stay in place very well and I only have to "lift" them back up once in a while. They free slide with the easy exit seat sliding no problem....get 'em!

Drop Stop

I just dropped my pocketknife and my keys down there for the 50,000 time, as much as I'm not a lover of extra stuff. I would love to see a picture of this, thank you.

Re: Drop Stop

Interesting. I might just pick one up the next time I'm at Canadian Tire.

Re: Drop Stop

I have them too - not noticeable at all, and I think they're worth the cost.

Re: Drop Stop

UPDATE:

The Drop Stop finally arrived. This is one of those products that make you go "Why the hell didnt I think of that?" Its a simple foam wrapped in some sort of neoprene. Really moldable so you can squeeze it in tight.

Installation took all of 20 seconds. I made sure to tuck it in tight and down so its not noticeable. I truly mean you can not tell its there unless youre looking for it. It also slides with the Easy Exit setting with no issues.

Long story short, a great product that you should absolutely buy. Its inexpensive and will save you a ton of headache when you do finally drop something between your seat.

Re: Drop Stop

Not relevant to the drop stop, but where did you get the FSU inserts for the cup holders? I'd love to get a couple of NCSU ones.

Re: Drop Stop

They were actually a gift from my mom (gotta love moms. They can find anything). I assume a simple Google search of "_________ team automotive coasters" should yield a usable starting point. I'll ask her and see what I can find out though
