Duplicolor Hood and Rims

Hi, i have a 2012 Overland with upgraded tires (nittos terra grapplers soon to be changed to Duratracs in the same size 275/55/20). Now i have seen a some modifications people do with their jeeps that i like and i feel that with this changes my love for my jeep which is very very high will go through the roof. i would like to duplicolor the rims in graphite color and also i love the trailhawk decal on the hood. But instead of making it of sticker i would like to make of duplicolor (its cheeper) also will paint the tow hooks red and two strips on the side in black or graphite and red and finally the side mirrors in red also and finally on the gasoline cap.
My question comes on the hood decal imitation of trailhawk...what is your opinion to make this in duplicolor or in sticker. I know in sticker is more easy to install but i want to know in functionality does it work well also? because the duplicolor red will be used in the racing strips on the side and the mirror and tow hooks and also the gasoline cap and i want to have the exact matching color red and i dont know if the sticker red color will be exact from the red in duplicolor paint. I hope you understand. The good side is if i dont like it how it ends or i get tired of this look i could always take it of and return it to its original color.
BY THE WAY MY JEEP IS GREY.
Also what is your comments on Duplicolor vs Plastidip
Can i read your comments on this project.

Re: Duplicolor Hood and Rims

Don't try to paint any thing like a hood with a rattle can.

Smaller body parts would be easier.

You would see c the over lapping of the passes..

Doing the red stripes would not be a problem.

If you have local vinyl vinyl guys they could do a custom good panel for you.

The Eastwood 2k paint cans have a better spray pattern but each can is $20 and you would need 3-4 to get the job done properly.
