Re: FAILED - WK2 Mopar Floormats / Slushmats

Mine are a year old with 17K miles on them and they look fine. That's with work boots and construction dirt being ground into them on a daily basis. They will eventually wear out, and then I will replace them - after all, they're slush mats. I'll put the original floor mats back in if I ever sell it, they are in brand new condition.

at the price linked, i ordered them anyways. I'll worry about a better option if they wear through.

4500 miles on mine... still looks new. Maybe the OP was wearing shoes with sharp heels?

Re: FAILED - WK2 Mopar Floormats / Slushmats

i've gone through one full winter with mine and the rear mat has been in for almost a year (kids) and they all look like new. At the blowout price, I'd order a couple sets and still be way ahead.

Re: FAILED - WK2 Mopar Floormats / Slushmats

Mine have 6,000 miles on them and they look fine, but I noticed that the do feel a little thin in that spot. On long drives I'll occasionally kick my shoes off, and then you can definitely feel the soft spot with your heel.

Re: FAILED - WK2 Mopar Floormats / Slushmats

^^^the mat is designed to be thinner in that area, so I can see how over time with high/ hard heeled shoes or rugged boots could wear through quickly. a standard dress shoe or soft sole shoe would take a long time to wear through.

I wear running shoes 99% of the time, so if it wears through, I'll post back.

Down to three left at that link. Looks like a few more people jumped on it too. My set just shipped Ordered the cargo mat awhile ago for around $65 so $110 all in is the best price i've seen around.

Yikes - that sucks. Spending the extra $$ for the Weathertechs will be worth it. I'm completely impressed with their service and product quality. I've had 3 jeeps and 3 sets of weathertechs. My stickers came off my latest set and weathertech sent me a new set - add a little tire shine and now they look like new again!

Re: FAILED - WK2 Mopar Floormats / Slushmats

We also owned a 2007 GL. I took the Mercedes weather mats that I had in the GL and put on the jeep. Perfect fit!

They are 4 year old and look a little faded but are as thick Asa the day I bought them.
