Re: Fender flares

Well just finished chatting with a salesman from the company that sells the fender flares. I asked for 2 sets of flares shipped to my door and was quoted 956.00. Shipping time would be 5-7 days. The flares themselves turned out to be 323.00 a set and then shipping was 310.00. I guess I will stick with my painted flares.

Re: Fender flares

The flares from sarona are only 500$ ...I wonder what the quality of these Kresh ones look like ?

if they were 200$ a set it would be worth getting just to experiment with

Re: Fender flares

Spoke with someone at Sarona the other day. 520 for a set. They are fiberglass. You attach them with black silicone and 2 sided tape. No thanks on that. On contacting the company, I used the chat feature on the companies site. There is a 12 hour difference so I contacted them around 10 pm my time. Tried to work out a deal but they would not budge. I even asked for a slower shipping time but no dice there either. Still for 323.00 a set I don't think it is a bad deal. Just sucks because I need 2 sets to customize my ride. They do look good in the pics. Looks like you would need to buy the clips for them.

Re: Fender flares

I think I read somewhere that the factory flares are attached with double sided tape as well though?

anyone know for sure? I'm not crazy about tape and silicone either

they are attached with tape and the tape can let go and you have flapping flares. its been an ongoing issue since the 2014s came out there are other threads on it. they use good 3m tape, just a bad design to use it in that situation. there are new summits sitting on the lot with their flares separating

Re: Fender flares

I myself am looking for SRT flares to put on my Limited. I just think it is stupid to pay over 1200.00 for 6 pieces of plastic. Tried to find a cheaper way but in the end getting the Kresh flares really didn't save me a ton of cash like I thought it would. And who knows about the quality of those flares? Anyway, thanks to ebay, I have all the pieces I need except one. I don't think I will finish this mod before the snow flys here so this will be my winter project. Like I said before, if you get the 4 extra flares, I think you can cut those and use them to finish off the transition areas on the front and rear bumpers. I always like a challenge. Hell, people were having a hard time fitting the SRT grille, but a simple cut and I got mine to fit like a glove

Fender flares

Tossed the color matched overland flares on to my '15 Limited. Came out looking pretty good. Need to let them set a bit - I accidentally stored them the past month not really level, so they were a bit off on the spacing. Will level out on a few days now that they are mounted.

Need to get 3 extra clips for the flares also, a few broke in the process. Overall very happy how it came out (note: my car is utterly filthy and the flares are pristine clean, so they look a shade off. In person they are an exact match). Eagle eye headlights installed there too!

Re: Fender flares

Very nice crimson. I also like my color matched trim. I just want to see if I can kick it up a notch with the SRT flares. Did you paint your lower rocker skirts black? Again very nice.
