As for the other parts: I've been debating it - painting it all out will make it fairly identical to an Overland/Altitude. On the other hand, all those extra parts, their price, and paint costs adds up significantly.

2014 Overland Paintable Wheel Flares $281.12
5JQ75TZZAA Left Front Wheel Flare
5JQ76TZZAA Right Front Wheel Flare
5JQ77TZZAA Left Rear Door Wheel Flare
5JQ78TZZAA Right Rear Door Wheel Flare
5JQ79TZZAA Left Rear Quarter Panel Wheel Flare
5JQ80TZZAA Right Rear Quarter Panel Wheel Flare

2014 Overland Paintable Body Parts
1WL30TZZAC Front Lower Bumper Cover $237.60
1VQ68TZZAA Rear Lower Bumper Cover $188.10
5PU65TZZAB Left Rocker Molding $135.00
5PU66TZZAB Right Rocker Molding $115.20

And that's the cost w/o paint

Those lower area's are also really hot spots for dirt/debris/chips - so part of me is thinking I may just leave them.

My new headlights are set to be here next week, so I will pop the color matched flares on maybe the following week-end. I'll toss some pics up and see how it all looks.

For the antenna, I know a handful of forum members have purchased these from Amazon:

The part numbers you have listed here as paintable parts for the bumper covers when searched coome up as textured pieces?

Hmm could be. I copy/pasted that list from a prior post from a member. I haven't actually purchased the primed front/rear bumper pieces myself - still on the fence or not if I will this spring.

i cant even seem to find them, im looking to do what you have done so far and as you can tell do the rocker moldings and the lower covers on the front and rear bumper have them painted etc to have the look of the altitude.

All i can find are the textured lower bumper covers

your wheels flares look great by the way

anyone able to direct for these primed or none textured lower bumper covers?

Thanks!!!

Re: Fender flares

I did my textured flares before I went and did the SRT flares. Steps I took to do the textured ones. Clean clean clean the flares with Dawn dish soap. Let air dry. Apply adhesion promoter. Apply several light coats of filler primer. Wet Sand primer with 400 grit. Check work and apply more filler primer if needed. The primer fills in the texture. Apply several coats of color and then 2k clearcoat. Open 6 pack and enjoy. I had a paint shop near me that color matched my Jeep and put the paint in rattle cans for me. The clear was Spraymax if I recall and that was also in a rattle can. Hope this helps. Good luck.

Re: Fender flares

Really nice job crimson- I am looking to do the same thing as you. Where did you buy your flares from? I am hoping to buy some paintable flares for my white limited GC. Thanks for any help.

Responded to PM, but just in case anyone else was looking for info:

I got mine from justforjeeps.com

Paintable Wheel Flares from 2014-2016 Jeep Grand Cherokee WK2 Overland #WK2Flares-ship

I think I paid like $275 for them last year, plus the paint from the body shop. You will also need the plastic rivets and a rivet gun. These from Amazon fit perfect

https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...?ie=UTF8&psc=1

I never painted the rear fascia with the exhaust. I did switch to a double exhaust and placed the fascia from the overland on the back. People will go back and forth on painting the textured plastic parts on the limited/Laredo. Biggest factor seems to if the body shop you use is willing to paint them or not.
