Can you give me an idea how tough of a job that was? I assume you just remove the rear bumper, unbolt the hitch and slide it out, then replace with the new rear lower valance? I like the look sooo much more without the trailer hitch so I have been considering this mod as well.

That's it. I cut the hitch and safety chain loops off the tube so that I would still have a bumper bar. Then I bought the lower bumper cover without the hole and installed it.

Oh ok I see. I guess cutting those things off is a way to do it as well. I was going to remove the entire hitch and replace with the non-hitch bumper bar and that way I can replace it at some point or when I go to sell it. Your method would be the easiest and cheapest though thanks for the idea!!
The back end looks so nice and clean without that trailer hitch opening.
Also, just curious was that somethin you had to have cut off or were you able to do it yourself? I looked in there and I guess it could be pretty simple its just a square metal piece that was welded into an opening in the bumper cross bar.
Last question, are you able to remove and replace the lower bumper valance without having to remove the entire bumper?

Thanks,
james
