Re: Floor Liners - Opinions Please

Weathertech mats work great but they look like ass in nice cars. I have used them in F-Series trucks I have owned in the past but I am still on the fence for the Summit. Might snag a set of the Mopars off of Ebay.

Re: Floor Liners - Opinions Please

I just went with Black Husky liners for the front and backseats on My Black/Saddle Overland. I'm in Ontario, Canada and i need the mats to catch slush. I used the black Jeep cargo tray liner. I liked it's look. I went with the Husky's because I didn't like the Weather Tech Labels. Picky Picky, I know. The Husky badge is molded into the liner and doesn't stick out. Now one observation, the material of the Husky's is firmer than the Weather Tech's that I recall.

Both are firm and form fitting (I have Weathertechs in my Audi). Although the Huskyliners look more glossy, they have a grippier surface than the Weathertechs and I prefer the Huskyliners for their better coverage too. Unfortunately they are not available for the Audi.

Re: Floor Liners - Opinions Please

Just put the Weathertech liners in my GC and they fit perfectly and cover quite a bit of real estate. I think that these will work great to keep the carpets like new.

What color is your interior and what color mats did you get? Who did you buy them from? Do you have a 2012? I was looking on kbcarstuff and they don't have them for 2012s yet. I wonder if the 2011s will fit or if the 2012 could have different placement or number of hooks. Thanks for any answers you can provide.

@ Corp Cog

This will be my first Jeep vehicle but I am very familular with WeatherTech products.
The picture you included in your first post look to be the WeatherTech All weather floor mats. Not the WeatherTech Floorliner? Usually the FloorLiner (DigitalFit) have a considerably deeper tray. The picture doesn't seem to show that. I get these are probably from your current ride.

This is what a Floorliner willl look like in your 2012. Much deeper, extensive floor and sidewall coverage.

I have a 2011 JGC and got the WeatherTech liners. They fit great. I have the beige interior. I was torn between the tan and black color liners and decided on the black. I figured the black wouldn't show the scuffing from shoes. I am happy with the black, but the tan may be a better color match. I don't think JEEP made any changes to the interior for 2012, so I think the 2011's mats would be fine (not 100% sure, though). I got mine from WeatherTech.

OK, thank you. I might go with the tan. I also have the light frost beige / dark frost beige interior. Weathertech does list the Grand Cherokee for 2012 but then I'd have to pay shipping from them. kbcarstuff has free shipping. 2012 and 2011 are probably the same.

Cloud11244,

I have the Dark Frost/light beige interior as well. I was thinking black on the floor lines for the say reason, the tan tends to scuff upp and get very dirty.

I'd love to see a pic or two with them installed if you could post up.
Thanks!
