The Mopar slush mats for the GC are terrific. Great construction quality, heavy material, and it's the best looking by far of all the options.

To top it off they're dirt cheap on ebay. No reason to go with any of the alternatives.

They do not wrap up on the sides like the Weathertechs, which I knew....but make sure that's OK with you. I've been pleased with them. After 50,000 miles they look new with a quick hit from the pressure washer, and the carpet is perfect too. They hold plenty of rain, snow or sand in their tread pattern.

They are very heavy rubber, and lay nice and flat. My most recent black Weathertechs in another car have "warped" after a few months and have a weird oily feel/look to them. The tan Weathertechs in a 2011 vehicle, I cannot get clean even with straight Clorox.

I have the front mats, the rear seat one piece mat, and the cargo mat as well. The cargo mat makes it impossible to slide items in, which is a drawback. You can slide items onto the Weathertech cargo mat just fine in my wife's Land Rover. But, the cargo area floor/carpet/rub rails look new after some pretty heavy use, thanks to the mat. The mat also keeps items from sliding around, just as you cannot slide items in to load them.....

The lack of a lip around the cargo mat is helpful in that you can fold the rear seat and then flip it back up without the lip of the mat getting caught....the Weathertech cargo mat lip in the Land Rover manages to always get caught when you try to flip the second row seats back up.

I also like the "Jeep" look to these mats, they look better than the Weathertechs IMO.
Same here. Im a weather tech fan but this time i figured id save some money and go with he Mopars. I have no complaints although i haven't used them in the snow as of yet. But at about $70 bucks vs. $200 for weather tech they definitely do what they need too. +1 for Mopars all weather mats

Re: Floor mats ??

Looking at the Mopar Jeep mats here as well for a 2015 Overland.

We had the Weathertech Liners (not the mats) in another car, but found them to be too slippery. My foot would slide most of the time when I was getting into the vehicle. We swapped those out for some heavy duty rubber mats and definitely prefer the extra grip.

Edited to note that this experience was with the Weathertech liners not their mats.

If they are slippery then you probably are referring to floor liners. OP is asking about floor mats.

Re: Floor mats ??

Thanks, that is an important distinction which also explains why my experience was different from all the positive reviews.

Previous post edited to annotate liners vs mats.

Another vote for the Husky X-act Contour. Dropped these in the fronts a few weeks ago and love them. The thing that really sold me was the part that hangs over the door sill as this should catch debris and prevent it from going under the mat more than other options.

Floor mats ??

I just got the Husky x-act Contours. In addition to what was said above they also have covered holes, more dead pedal coverage, and are a thicker better more rubber like material and better deeper grooves than the WeatherTecs I had.

All true. It was a thread here several years ago that convinced me to get the X-Act Contours. I'm glad I did not pay for the MOPAR mats which are under my hitch cargo rack in a corner of the garage now.

Re: Floor mats ??

Has anyone ever tried the floor mats from Rugged Ridge? I'm thinking of going with the Huskys in both front and back seats and the mopar cargo mat but hear that the Huskys can be a little slippery.

Re: Floor mats ??

I ordered the Husky X-act Contour mats, the Mopar mats, and the Weathertech mats so I could compare all 3 directly as I didn't have any shops locally that carried them. After putting them all in my wife's new High Altitude Grand Cherokee we both agreed on the Husky mats for both the front and back seats and returned the others. They're a thicker, more pliable rubber than the Weathertech's and we felt they looked better and offered better coverage than the Mopar mats.
