Floor mats ??

I've been a Weather Tech fan for some time, had them in my past four vehicles. I got a set for my Jeep and well as my wife's SUV... Not happy with these latest sets. They seem to be thinner or something and don't keep their shape, the logo emblem comes off in the heat of day and ends up sticking to other surfaces. I see there are some rugged looking Jeep mat sets on the Mopar site... Any recommendations and photos would be greatly appreciated!

Do a search. Much has been written here on the topic.

Quadratech front and rear for mine with a beautiful, thick, black carpet by LLOYD in the cargo area.

Highly recommend Husky X-act Contour. They only come in black but look good with my Light Frost interior.

Re: Floor mats ??

I had the same issue with Weathertechs. They shrank and the emblem fell off. The last straw was when I had to brake hard and the mat ended up over the brake pedal because the mats are so rigid.

After much research, this is probably the route I'm going too.

How is the cargo mat? I've heard the Mopar one has a lot of grip, which I'm debating.

Re: Floor mats ??

I too have usually bought Weathertechs for prior cars. But, the Jeep all weather rugged style mats were so much cheaper I thought I would try them. They do not wrap up on the sides like the Weathertechs, which I knew....but make sure that's OK with you. I've been pleased with them. After 50,000 miles they look new with a quick hit from the pressure washer, and the carpet is perfect too. They hold plenty of rain, snow or sand in their tread pattern.

They are very heavy rubber, and lay nice and flat. My most recent black Weathertechs in another car have "warped" after a few months and have a weird oily feel/look to them. The tan Weathertechs in a 2011 vehicle, I cannot get clean even with straight Clorox.

I have the front mats, the rear seat one piece mat, and the cargo mat as well. The cargo mat makes it impossible to slide items in, which is a drawback. You can slide items onto the Weathertech cargo mat just fine in my wife's Land Rover. But, the cargo area floor/carpet/rub rails look new after some pretty heavy use, thanks to the mat. The mat also keeps items from sliding around, just as you cannot slide items in to load them.....

The lack of a lip around the cargo mat is helpful in that you can fold the rear seat and then flip it back up without the lip of the mat getting caught....the Weathertech cargo mat lip in the Land Rover manages to always get caught when you try to flip the second row seats back up.

I also like the "Jeep" look to these mats, they look better than the Weathertechs IMO.
