fog bezels - to chrome or not to chrome?

I'm trying to decide whether or not to get the chrome fog bezels for my Overland. Would those of you who do have them post some pictures to help me decide? Preferably ones with darker color WK2s, non Summit (I want to see what it looks like without the shiny mesh grill). Thanks!

I have them on white gold Ltd. They complete the look. But I can see going without on a dark color. On the other hand they are inexpensive at Justforjeeps and just snap in and out.

In my opinion they fit well to the brighter colours like gold, silver or white. With the darker colours like black or charcoal they interupt the line of the crome grill.

I have a dark charcoal limited with them on. No pics on me right now, but honestly I'm thinking it is too much bling so probably going to put the black back on and sell the chrome. I'll post a pick sometime tonight if nobody else does.

Re: fog bezels - to chrome or not to chrome?

I can't tell from the pics online, but I did swing by the Jeep dealer today and saw a dark charcoal with the chrome bezels.. but the strange thing was, it wasn't entirely chrome. The bezel is more of a brushed metal color but with chrome outlines. Did they change them up or something or were these just different?

That is normal mine were like that it is like that. It is done to prevent unwanted glare from the fogs striking another driver's eyes. I painted my chrome ones black and I have a stone white Overland. I like the contrast in color. I am having my grill, mirror caps and rear chrome JEEP strip color matched (stone white) in the next week or so. My headlights, fogs and tails are smoked so the chrome bezels just looked stupid on there.

Re: fog bezels - to chrome or not to chrome?

I think on a black grand cherokee, the stock flat black look better than chrome, because then it keeps the view as a circular shape of the fog light intact.
