Quick update, overall I am satisfied with the performance of the Phillips Xtreme Ultinon LED H11 fogs. Easy installation and pretty "close enough for me" color match to stock D3S.
However, I noticed some discrepancies b/n the retailers website (and the info that I posted above) and what is actually printed on the box.
1) they use 12w not 9.3w as I previously stated (still much less than stock 55w) and they are much cooler to touch. No big deal here
2) "12 year lifetime based upon average use of 2 hours per week." Personally, I find their definition of "lifetime" to be very misleading. Two hours of night/dusk or dawn driving per week is not very much at all.
3) "This 700 lumen LED fog lamp provides similar brightness when compared to a standard 1200 lumen H11 fog lamp due to comparable candela values. Specific candela values will vary depending on vehicle." I am far from a lighting expert, but I think that it is misleading to advertise 2400 lumens when the box clearly states that it is a 700 lumen lamp. Now there are 2 lamps in the package so it would be fair to say 1400 lumens (which puts you right at stock light output of 1350 lumens)
As I said, this info was clearly printed right on the side of the box. Just thought that I would put that out there if anyone else is considering this purchase.
