Re: fog led

I had my headlights on too when I drove last night so it's hard to say until I get a chance to check again when I can just try the park lights and fogs combo. They seem pretty bright to me though. I tried to take a picture last night showing the entire front of my Jeep, but my phone camera can't take a picture directly into the lights at night, can't get it to show up like what I'm seeing.

Good to hear, would love to see pics. Mine should be here tomorrow but want to see what I can expect.

I'd be interested to hear how the intensity and pattern on the road with the headlights off appears compared to the standard fogs.

Re: fog led

Just finished installing mine. Pretty happy with the color in the daytime. I snipped all 3 of the outer tabs off just so I wouldn't have to fiddle with it too much. I was able to get all the clips to engage without a problem and the bulbs seems secure. I will try to get some pics of the ground coverage of the fogs as well as a pic against a wall tonight.

Edit: Adding pics and nighttime review

The LEDs do definitely produce a very nice clean white light that does a decent job matching the HIDs. Definitely much better than the OEM bulbs. In terms of usable light, they are not as good as the OEM halogens but produce a decent amount of light on the ground. Would I pay $50 again for these? Probably not. $30? Sure. There are some $30 H16 cree LED's on Ebay that will likely produce the same results for a lesser cost.

I didn't take a pic against the wall as there really is no cutoff or anything notable...here are a couple shots on the ground. the first picture is with the headlights off. Second is with the headlights on. You can see the line in the second pic where the headlights take over. Pics are from an iPhone and are a bit overexposed.

No headlights:

Re: fog led

Ordered my lights (5000k) on March 16th and they arrived by the 21st. The quality was definitely a lot better then the $25 ones I got off of eBay awhile back. I was finally able to install them this afternoon and they very closely match the OEM HIDs. Extremely happy with the results. Thanks XenonDepot! I'll try to post some pictures this week.

Re: fog led

I installed mine this weekend. The hardest part was to take off the old fog lights with broken clips. I strongly suggest you remove all three tabs around the outside of the bulb. I attached a crappy cell picture, but in real life, the LED (right) are a lot brighter than the halogens (took the picture at a wrong angle). I had Sylvania ZXE headlights but had to put the stocks back on while I wait for a second set (first one lasted over a year).

Tip: I removed the tire, and the clip and bolt that hold the bottom of the wheel area cover. This gave me complete access to the area.

Re: fog led

Hey Guys,

Thank you so much for taking the time to post up some feedback and pictures!

DirtyDuc83: There are cheaper options out there however the cheaper option do not use CREE LED diodes all around. They typically use a combination of CREE + Epistar or Samsung LED diodes. Furthermore, We use CREE R5 diodes for more light output meaning that costs are higher as well... Either way, I'm glad to hear that you are happy overall with your purchase.

mazdaspeed29: Awesome! Thank you for the feedback. I am definitely looking forward to seeing some pics!

GlennR: Can you please send me a Pm with your shipping info? Also, Does your vehicle use the same fog light bulb as North American models?

Dabitz: Thanks for the feedback, picture, and tips!! Glad you're happy with your purchase =)
