Fog LEDs: H11 LED, 6 x Cree, White - do I need resistors?

Will I need resisitors ( http://www.ddmtuning.com/Products/LE...-Ohm-50-W-Pair ) to get H11 LED, 6 x Cree, White ( DDM Tuning: HID and LED Lighting ) - to work as fog bulbs in my 2015 Jeep Grand Cherokee?

Re: Fog LEDs: H11 LED, 6 x Cree, White - do I need resistors?

Since you have a 2015 yes you will. If you look on my OEM 2015+ SRT fog thread install you'll see what we use and recommend. 2014 models do not need them, 2015 does. I went with the Putco H11 anti-flicker module. It's 100% plug and play and has worked great for a lot of us. I got mine on eBay for pretty cheap. Just search H11 anti flicker and you'll get all sorts of options.

Resistors won't work. you'll need a canceling module of some sort instead as stated above.

I installed LED fogs in my 2015 Jeep Grand Cherokee High Altitude and I did it in park mode (without even turning the wheels)just reaching my arm up in there. With the Jeep off AND with the engine running I didn't need anti-flicker harness or resistors. I canceled my amazon order of the anti-flicker modules and reuseable trim panel retainers.

Fog LEDs: H11 LED, 6 x Cree, White - do I need resistors?

All I needed was two Cree LED H11 white 1300 lumens http://www.ddmtuning.com/Products/H11-6xCree-W and my hand and arm. $19.99 each. Total cost including shipping was $45.98
These LEDs for fogs look awesome with the headlights and with the LED headlight surround strips, and these fog LEDs are bright!

Re: Fog LEDs: H11 LED, 6 x Cree, White - do I need resistors?

The logic on the 2015's does diagnostics initially, then tests after 20 - 25 minutes after, mine fail on the 2nd test 20 minutes in and just turn off, even with an anti flicker module. I've found a module specific to the 2015 models, will update when I try them out.
