Fog lights cause weird elect issue?

Bought some LED fog light bulbs to replace the ones that hot smashed when I hit the deer and dealership is saying that I can't use them cause they are messing with the airbags giving a weird ohm reading?

Had LEDs in before I hit the deer and never had an issue, so is the dealer just making things up?

Re: Fog lights cause weird elect issue?

LED fogs are fine. When replacing std headlights with HIDs, you usually need a cheater adapter to fix the ohm load to a value that keeps the sensors and ECU happy. Airbag... thats a good one...

Wait, LEDs.. hitting a deer... coincidence ? hmmm...

Hmmm, Yes i have heard of this before. Just put some more air into your spare tyre and that should fix the problem... sounds like BS to me
