Folding Seat Flat

2014 Grand Cherokee, dual power seats

Maybe I'm losing my mind, but I can't figure out how to fold my front, passenger seat flat. The manual shows a lever on the side to do it, but it doesn't exist on the seat.

Can someone please assist with my blonde moment?

Thanks.

That appears to be an option, as the owners manual section that shows the big lever
is Front Passenger Seat Fold-Flat Feature If Equipped

I'm probably losing my mind, but the damn thing is not there. Any chance if you have power seats they don't have the lever?

I did just notice that the picture with the lever does not have the power seat buttons.
I have no idea if that means anything useful...

Re: Folding Seat Flat

For fold flat you need manual seat.

Maybe you should have done some more research before plucking down all that cash.

Laredo:

Seating
  • Cloth Low-Back Bucket Seats
  • Front-Passenger Fold-Flat-Forward Seat
  • Power 8-Way Driver / Manual Passenger Seat
  • Power 4-Way Driver Lumbar Adjust
  • Rear 60 / 40 Folding Seat

If I wanted a low end car, I would have kept my Edge. If the low end model has them, you would think the higher end has it. Stupid me to think that spending more would remove features.

Either way, my car is a lemon. Shaking on the highway since day 1, 6 visits and they can't fix it, just waiting for the attorney to work it all out. The day can't come soon enough.

What are they doing on these visits?
Take a look at this TSB and possibly print it on a clue bat for the next visit.

Re: Folding Seat Flat

Jeep now offers an option with a little money back to get a manual / fold-flat passenger seat in a 2014 Grand Cheorkee Limited.
