Foot Rest - Dead Pedal for driver side

Has anyone looked for a Foot Rest (Dead Pedal) for the driver side.

Found some for GC on Ultimatepedals

http://www.ultimatepedals.com/catalo...oducts_id=2518

Anyone installed a driver Dead Pedal on the new GC?

Re: Foot Rest - Dead Pedal for driver side

I didn't notice anything when I did the test drive: is there any protection mat built into the carpet for this area? I would like something like you've shown if it matched the bright pedal option.

Re: Foot Rest - Dead Pedal for driver side

72 Dollars for a rest pedal? Doesn't that seem a bit outrageous?

I hate that the wk2 doesn't have a dead pedal.

Re: Foot Rest - Dead Pedal for driver side

forget about UltimatePedals.com, i just got off the phone with them and they want to charge a $25 fee for a custom vehicle they don't have in their inventory plus the $64 for the pedal - that's before shipping. that's about $100 for a foot rest. talk about bad business...

i feel something would need to go there soon, as the carpet is already starting to wear and look cheap. anybody have any ideas?

Re: Foot Rest - Dead Pedal for driver side

The rubber floor mats help a bit, but even still, I don't think they are tall enough. They cover up where the heel would be, but no higher. I suppose that would be the most abrasive spot anyway.

Huskyliners will cover the area for what might be considered the dead pedal.
